HBC successfully delivered the refurbishment of the Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) facility at Weston General Hospital, a key development designed to improve patient flow and enhance emergency care capacity. The £2.5m scheme involved the transformation of an existing clinical environment into a modern, compliant, and operationally efficient unit tailored to the demands of urgent care.

  • Full strip-out and refurbishment of the existing hospital space.
  • Installation of new MEP systems designed by QED Consulting and delivered by T Clarke.
  • Structural modifications coordinated with Skeletal Consulting to enable reconfiguration of internal spaces.
  • Implementation of fire safety strategy developed with OFR Consulting.
  • Interior fit-out to clinical standards, including treatment bays, waiting areas, staff facilities, and support spaces.
  • Upgrades to finishes, lighting, and building services to meet HTM/HBN requirements.
