Remodeling of Factory Space

Harris Bros and Collard were appointed to carry out a full remodelling of a factory space for Purple Surgical, a respected manufacturer of high-quality surgical instruments supplied to the NHS and wider healthcare sector.

The objective of the project was to transform the existing facility to accommodate new state-of-the-art production machinery while ensuring compliance with the rigorous hygiene standards required within the medical device manufacturing industry.

The works involved the removal of internal walls to create a large open-plan factory layout, optimised for improved workflow and operational efficiency.

To meet hygiene and regulatory standards, the remodelling also included the installation of hygienic wall cladding systems, wipe-clean suspended ceilings, and the construction of clean rooms for sterile processes.

All modifications were carefully planned to support seamless integration with the client’s machinery and services.

The result is a modernised, high-performance manufacturing environment that enhances Purple Surgical’s production capabilities and supports the continued delivery of excellence to the healthcare sector.
