Musgrove Park Hospital – Pharmacy Refurbishment

A challenging project which required meticulous phasing to ensure the department was able to operate as usual. The project included frequent milestones whereby it was essential that enabling works were completed, prior to third party specialist installation. An example of this was for the newly proposed pharmaceutical sorting robot delivered from overseas. All enabling works such as; forming of openings, opening up of ceilings, installation of 3 phase electrical feeds and plumbing diversions were completed within a condensed package to meet the delivery deadline. This was inclusive of out of hours operations to ensure works were kept on programme.

The Site Forman communicated closely with the pharmacy managerial team which aided the smooth running of site wide activities and ensured a safe working environment. 

During the project close out teams meeting the project was heavily praised by the pharmacy team. HBC was thanks for the efforts and procedures carried out to not disturb the day to day activities of the department.
