The company also became contractors as well as developers and have built many well known buildings, including the Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton, refurbishment of Angel Crescent in Bridgwater, re-siting of Admiral Blake Statue in Bridgwater, construction of St. Francis Church and Bridgwater Catholic Church as well as numerous other public and industrial buildings.

Primarily in years gone by, Harris Bros and Collard were major housing builders, having built speculative homes all around Bridgwater and the surrounding areas, and also housing stock for local authorities.
